The latest MOOC to be completed as part of an ongoing evaluation of courses available from all the main global providers concluded this week. This brings the  total number of MOOCs trialled so far to 17 & includes courses from Coursera, EdX, Futurelearn, Udemy and Kahn Academy.

A pilot learning space evaluation exercise was carried out for University of Wales Trinity Saint David during the 2015/16 academic year. The objective was to test the technology enabled room designs for the new SA1 Campus in Swansea.

A paper was presented to the Wales NEXUS Conference 2016 entitled 'A Pedagogic Profiling Toolkit'. It described a learning design modelling process that maps the learning activities in a lesson plan to key characteristics drawn from learning theory.
The toolkit was tested with staff in Engineering, Education and the Humanities at UWTSD.
