A paper was presented to the ALT-C Conference 2017 today entitled 'Co-Design and Pedagogic Profiling in TEL Staff Development. It described a learning design modelling process that maps the learning activities in a lesson plan to key characteristics drawn from learning theory.

Coordination of the development programme for the UWTSD staff due to occupy the new SA1 campus in 2018 began today. The programme was developed over 2016/17 to prepare staff to use the new technology enabled learning spaces in the new buildings.

A new project was launched today in partnership with Coleg Sir Gar. The IoT Pods for Workplace Training project is funded by Ufi and has the objective of exploring the use of Internet of Things devices in supporting training in the workplace. The project has funding of £158k and will complete in November 2018.
